Piezo speakers are constructed with a piezoelectric ceramic disc that resonates with sound. Due to the nature of piezo technology, piezoelectric speakers are resistant to being over-driven and can be used without a crossover. A piezo speaker is much easier to drive when compared to the typical magnetic speaker. Since our piezo loudspeakers are non-magnetic they are remarkably lightweight.  Additionally, ISL piezo loudspeakers are suitable for applications that require a broad frequency range. We have been successfully manufacturing piezo speaker solutions to our customers for decades. Our piezo material has been tested, using a square wave audio amplifier, to ensure a full range of output and guarantee high fidelity sounds and absolute audio quality. Electromechanical interference, hash environments, high altitudes, and even maritime use are no challenge for our phenolic cones and high quality piezoelectric material. For less harsh environments, we offer paper cone versions.

For optimal acoustics, we suggest to pair our piezo loudspeakers and piezo tweeters together. This ensure a true full range of sound output, the lower bass tones will come from the loudspeaker while the tweeter will handle the higher frequency sounds.
