Our electromagnetic buzzers, also known as indicators, are designed with a built-in driving circuit for easy application integration. When you apply voltage, current flows through the voice coil creating a magnetic field. This causes the diaphragm to vibrate, producing a sound output. This buzzer type has a narrow operating voltage ranging from 1.5 – 12V+. ISL’s magnetic audio buzzers are desirable for applications requiring a lower sound pressure level (SPL) and frequency. For engineers who would rather design their own external driving circuit, our magnetic transducers would be the optimal component.
